Unfortunately, in the Czech Republic, there are about ten vehicle thefts every day, with Škoda and VW being the most frequently stolen brands. Thanks to our services, you will have peace of mind, and we will watch over your vehicle for you. GlobalSec offers more than just protection against theft; thanks to our app, you will have a perfect overview of your vehicle and its driver, if it's not you. You can even evaluate your own driving.

The service works in the basic package within the European Union. If the vehicle leaves the EU in this mode, the unit will store data in its internal memory and will send all data back upon re-entry into the EU, which will then be displayed in the system, for example, as a standard trip log. If you would like to expand the service outside the EU territory, please contact us.

Monitoring With smart notifications, you can monitor the vehicle (or your loved ones) through our app and set up notifications for what you want to know right away. We take care of the flawless operation of the app, our units, and of course, maps. Guarding The unit is connected to the central security center, so it will keep a protective eye on your vehicle with a team of professionals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the event of any unforeseen incidents, we will start addressing it immediately, even involving the police with whom we have a long-term official partnership.

The unit is installed inside the vehicle. The precise location of the locator cannot be disclosed even to the vehicle owner.

The unit is configured to switch to minimal power consumption mode after the vehicle is turned off.

Our contract is valid for one calendar year, always from the installation date to the following year's date.

The invoice will be sent to your email or address the following month, depending on your choice when signing the contract.

To terminate the contract, a signed request for non-renewal of the contract must be sent either by registered mail to our address or by email. We must receive the termination at least 30 days before the contract anniversary.

It is possible to either uninstall the unit or deactivate it remotely. In the case of remote deactivation, the unit will remain in the vehicle but will no longer be active. Both of these procedures incur charges. The uninstallation of the unit costs 1,162 CZK including VAT. Remote deactivation of the unit incurs a fee of 605 CZK including VAT.

The service works within the territory of the European Union. If you no longer wish to continue guarding after selling your vehicle, you need to send us a signed termination request along with a copy of the sales agreement, and the contract will be terminated as of the date of vehicle sale.

The main difference between the services lies in the operation of the locator. A passive locator records the vehicle's position and sends data to a server, which the vehicle owner checks. In the event of suspected vehicle theft, the owner contacts the Czech Police or our dispatch and provides information about the vehicle's movements. A passive locator does not generate alarms, but the owner can set up notifications in the server, including service for tracking the vehicle's movements. Please refer to the help section in the system for details. Active service is a full guarding service. The unit is connected to the central security center, so it will keep a protective eye on your vehicle with a team of professionals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After logging into the system, simply click on 'Settings' in the top menu, then 'User,' and then 'Edit.' Enter your new password twice in the 'Password' and 'Confirm Password' fields, and then confirm by clicking 'OK.' There is another way: the top menu 'Settings/Access Settings/click on your username in the 'User' column to edit, and enter your new password twice in the 'Password' and 'Confirm Password' fields, then confirm by clicking 'OK.'

Yes, it is possible to install another locator in a different vehicle. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact our customer hotline during business hours.

Due to the necessity of setting up the service in the system, the time frame is mentioned in the GTC up to 10 days. From the moment of signing the contract and installing the device into the vehicle, the locator is already working, and your service is active. Once all your data is processed in the system, you will receive an email with your username and password. From that point on, you will be able to track the vehicle's movement online, including the trip log from the moment the unit is installed in the vehicle. If you do not have an email, you will receive access credentials in the form of an SMS.

According to the General Terms and Conditions, which you accept by signing the contract, you are required to bring the vehicle in for technical inspection of the GPS device once a year. The service is subject to charges, as listed in our pricing. You can refuse the inspection, but in such a case, our company cannot guarantee the smooth functioning of the GPS locator device in case of vehicle theft or the need for the current vehicle localization. In such a case, please send your written refusal of the inspection to the email: info@globalsec.cz.

The installation of a passive unit takes approximately 1 hour, while the installation of an active unit takes around 2 hours. For less common vehicles, the installation time may vary, but you will be informed in advance.

The standard duration of the inspection is approximately 30 minutes. If additional tasks need to be performed, the inspection may take up to one hour.

Due to the fact that professional installation is carried out in a workshop subject to full compliance with safety regulations, no unauthorized individuals can be present during the locator installation.

The locator requires a GPS satellite signal to function correctly. If there is no GPS signal in an underground garage, it will remember the last known vehicle position, and on the map, it will display the location before entering the garage.

The unit operates as a GPS satellite signal receiver and a GSM signal transmitter, similar to a mobile phone. Therefore, if your smartphone does not affect your vehicle in any way, the locator will not have an impact on the functionality of anything in your car.

The unit operates in three modes. In normal operating mode, which is activated after starting the vehicle, the power consumption is a maximum of 200 mA. After turning off the car, the locator automatically switches to sleep mode, with power consumption of approximately 25 mA. If the vehicle remains off for an extended period, the locator goes into standby mode, with minimal power consumption.

The actual movement and status of the vehicle are known only to the owner or the driver. After installing the locator in the vehicle, you will receive access credentials by email. You are responsible for them, and who you share them with is solely your decision. Our company fully complies with GDPR, so your data is not shared with anyone. You can log in to the system from anywhere in the world, even from multiple devices simultaneously.

Access to this data is subject to GDPR regulations and is therefore operated in accordance with this regulation.

The app may have sound muted, the chip may be turned off, or the chip's battery may be weak.

You may have exceeded your limit - the daily limit for notifications is 50. You may have notifications on your phone turned off. Your phone may not be connected to the internet - you need to restore internet connectivity.

This setting is necessary for the full functionality of all app features.

No fees are charged for chips.

Because the communication system between the app and the chips is different from the communication with GPS locators.

Yes, internet connectivity is required for the app to function. Without an internet connection, the app will not work, and you won't be able to log in.

Choosing internal navigation will display the location on Google map backgrounds. Choosing external navigation will display the location on map backgrounds from available external sources.

In the 'Menu/Profile' tab, click on 'Change': First, enter your current password, then enter your new password twice, and confirm the change with the symbol in the upper right corner.
